Male lead vocalist, Rich Harris Jr. has been a performer since his teen years playing in many cover bands, working on an MTV pilot show and being selected to the National Touring Companies of Rent and Movin' Out. With tireless energy and a trained voice, he now brings all his talents to HI DEF, and whether it be singing lead, or playing keyboards, its gonna be fun!!!

Female lead vocalist, Gina D’Orta. Is no stranger to performing for a crowd!. Shes been involved in theater since the age of 11, and started singing in local bands at 18. Her diverse vocal style has given her the opportunity to sing many genres from motown.doowhop, to blues rock and classsic rock....She has performed in Las Vegas, on cruise ships, and at the world famous Apollo theater in Harlem, as well as winning some local competitions. Her unique twist on familiar songs and hi energy will keep you moving all night long.
The architect of HI DEF, Phil Bellia has performed with such bands as Radio Riot, Voodoo Juice, Squirt, and Plan B. His hyper playing style and ability makes his guitar sing, scream, cry and moan while simultaneously making his Marshall amp roar. He lives for playing live and gives the crowd 110% all the time, making every show, every second, and every note count.
"Bassist Ken Rodgers has been playing in a variety of original acts for the past 17 years ranging from acoustic guitar rock to more avant garde, progressive projects. Ken's influences, which include Geddy Lee of Rush and Motown Bass Legend James Jamerson, are truly all over the musical spectrum. With rock n roll as the theme, and a desire to give Kodiaks members an interactive and fun party, HI DEF turned to Rock Star Karaoke. Different from regular karaoke with a DJ, this Rock Star Karaoke program enlists a full band for each performance prepared to play any of the requested songs from an extensive song list. Led by radio host Leeana from 94x radio station who provides both commentary and encouragement for the stage-shy in attendance, partygoers hit the stage performing rock classics like Sweet Home Alabama, Livin' on a Prayer, and Don't Stop Believin'. HI-DEF also specializes in contemporary/Top-40 music from such arists as Neyo, Lady Gaga, and Pitbull.

YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING.
This was my first event to plan for eXelate- I started on Nov. 1 and my boss Mark told me that my first project was to plan a party in 30 days for 200 people with speakers, and a band, and to find a cool venue. I was anxious about pulling off a great event for the Company, and you guys made me look like a super star. I cant thank you enough for your flexibility with the event, and willingness to play longer when no one wanted to leave yet! Your music absolutely made our event a HUGE SUCCESS- everyone in online advertising is talking about it this morning, and I cant thank you enough. I emailed my friends in Garden City and Glen Cove about you guys this morning- were already trying to figure out a date where all of us can get together to can watch you guys play.
Long story short, it was such a treat to work with all of you, and I really hope to do it again in the future. If you ever need a reference for future clients, please send them my way.

Hi Def is THE BEST live band I've ever seen! I've seen them twice now, and it's been non-stop dancing for both shows. Their song list is amazing--fab 80s to Top 40, and they play it all with such enthusiasm. I used to prefer DJs over bands for authenticity, but not anymore--Hi Def's covers are incredible. For anyone looking for an event band, Hi Def is the best!
FAN FROM WICKED MONK (WEDDING INQUIRY)

Hey there,
I used to live right around the corner from The Wicked Monk in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Hi Def was my FAVORITE band that regularly performed. Everyone gets so excited about another band but I would recruit people to come down to see Hi Def because I just thought they were so awesome. I now live in California and still stay in touch with Bobo at the Monk to see if any Hi Def performances coincide with my visits back east.
Well now that I'm getting married (yay me!) I'm thinking about the music at the reception and wondering how much of a possibility it would be to book Hi Def. We're still talking to venues and the wedding will either be in CT or the Westchester, NY area. What is their booking fee for an event like this? I'm think it may just be for the post-dinner entertainment. Also, the wedding won't be until next summer. Is it too soon to even be talking about this?

I just wanted to let you know that one of the best parts of the evening was HI DEF. They were incredible! Not only were they a huge surprise to everyone, and of course they sounded fantastic...but they really interacted so well with the guests...and especially the kids! You would have thought they did this type of "event" many times!! I wanted the cocktail hour to go on longer just to keep hearing them play.
The caterer was so impressed too. He asked Phil for their contact information. He commented that they throw parties week after week and this was one of the best cocktail hours he had ever been to. Our friends kept asking us how we "found them".
All the band members are truly great people. I am definitely going to make sure I hear them play again soon!!
The entire evening exceeded our expectations. and having HI DEF start our celebration was definitely a great decision!!!
